Steam Reveals What PC Gamers Will Have to Try to Play Sid Meier’s Civilization VIIThe game will use anti-piracy protection. Denuvowhile online games will be 2K account required.

Specifically, Steam states: “Uses 3rd party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper, max 5 activations within 24 hours.”

In case you didn’t know, Denuvo controversial piracy protectionwhich developers use in abundance. However, according to various tests, it has a negative impact on the load on the computer, which affects the performance of games.

As for the 2K account, you will need it for online integration only. So you can do without it to play the single-player game. Steam has not yet indicated that you will need to install another 2K Games launcher.
