“I hope to create fun and beautiful games that will be as memorable or even more memorable than the ones I’ve created so far.” This is stated in Itsuno’s report.

Hideaki Itsuno most recently directed the two-part series. Dogma of the Dragon. Before that, he held the same position on Devil May Cry 3, 4 and 5. He was also responsible for Street Fighter Alpha, Star Gladiator, Rival Schools, Capcom vs SNK, Power Stone or Auto Modellista.

The RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 was released in March of this year, and we awarded it 8/10In the review we wrote/said:

“More than anything else, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is essentially a second attempt at the first game. It takes all the ideas from the first game and tries to do them all over again and better. In most cases, it succeeds. The emphasis on exploration and a fun combat system (at least for most of the game) is a clear testament to this. It’s just a shame that the company didn’t take it a step further in some ways. After a while, you start to notice repetitive enemies, the combat becomes a bit monotonous, and of course, the biggest problem is optimization. Regardless, this is a fantastic game that shouldn’t be missed by fans of RPGs and those who like worlds you can literally get lost in.”
