A well-known insider with the nickname Billbil-kun revealed the design yesterday. upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro consolewhich should be officially presented already in September. This information has now been supported by another insider, who told on his YouTube channel called “Moore’s Law is Dead” about the memory size of the future console.
According to him, PlayStation 5 Pro boasts a 2TB drive capacity. Compared to the basic version, this will be twice as expensive. Given the growing share of online distribution and the growing size of games, which often exceed 100 GB for individual games, this would be a logical step that a significant percentage of players could appreciate.
However, the question is how much a possible larger drive will impact the price of the console itself, which we don’t know yet. The PS5 Pro launch should happen anyway this fall.
