Sony announced the launch Heroic Project of the Middle East and North Africa. This is a program to find and support talented developers, similar to which has already been created in China and India. This time, PlayStation will invest in the Middle East and North Africa region. As in previous cases, it expects a return on investment.

In particular, the Japanese giant will focus on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia. This time, it does not disclose the investment amount, but it can be expected that it will not deviate too much from the previous figures of 140 and 100 thousand dollars.

In addition to development money, Sony will also offer consulting, access to internal resources, project transparency, and may even decide to publish some of the games. The Indian program has already yielded concrete results. PlayStation will help launch five games and the Develop India developer conference.
