Crysis fans are currently focused on the long-awaited fourth installment of the sci-fi series. However, it was once in development. Crysis Nextwhich we can see in a 13-minute video with gameplay footage.
Crysis Next was multiplayer third person shooterand the Crysis trilogy is first-person. German studio Crytek reportedly wanted to create a free-to-play battle royale with different heroes and different nano suitsIn the video we see the Frontliner, Tactician and Flanker classes. We were able to customize each one in terms of abilities and appearance. The graphics are very unfinished. This indicates an alpha version.
This is the past. Let’s return to the present. Crisis 4 has been confirmed for early 2022. Development is being led by Mattias Engström, who worked on the modern Hitman trilogy at Denmark’s IO Interactive, served as a level designer on the first two volumes, and led the development of Volume 3. According to Crytek, there is a great team working on Crysis 4. The first video confirmed this single player story campaign.
