French publisher Ubisoft has announced a new installment of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, subtitled Olden Era. It is important to emphasize at the outset that this is not a mobile spin-off, but a pro full continuationwhich will be released exclusively on PC. The game’s development was entrusted to Unfrozen Studios, which in 2020 released the well-received turn-based RPG Iratus: Lord of the Dead.

The game Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era will feature prequel to the whole serieswhich is supposed to return to its roots with this work. At the same time, Prim will continue to play in a turn-based strategy and combat format. The obvious inspiration from the first three parts of the series is well illustrated by the already attached announcement trailer above, in which the authors briefly show the form of battles, the selected factions and the gradual opening of the game map.

Especially fans of the third part, which is still appreciated today, should not miss anything significant in this regard. As for the game modes, the game will offer traditional single player campaign and an unlimited number of randomly generated scenarios. There will also be multiplayer for up to 8 players.

Heroes of Might and Magic: Old Era will be released in the second quarter of next year in the Steam Early Access program, where you can add the game to your wishlist right now.
