It’s been almost two years since the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology ended, and players are eagerly awaiting the next installment. Developer Supermassive Games finally unveiled it at today’s Opening Night Live.
More accurately, it was a re-announcement, as the first trailer for the title Directive 8020 was only two years ago. In any case, the new trailer for the game reveals more details, and we learned that actress Lashana Lynch will play the lead role of the astronaut in this space horror.
Directive 8020 is coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S next year. Interestingly, The Dark Pictures Anthology has been completely removed from the title, with only a small “A Dark Pictures Game” inscription in the logo. So it’s possible that there’s been some change to the seasons.
