While for some games the journey more or less ends with release, for Baldur’s Gate 3 it was only the beginning, as evidenced by, among other things, the fact that a new update will be released next month. Patch 7 should be as rich an update as the previous “content packs”. However, the presence of a new ending should play a significant role in it, because the range of alternatives was not yet sufficiently diverse, and some could say that these were frankly sloppy options, which the authors are slowly managing to fix.
This time, the writers are focusing on expanding the evil line, so why not let players become real villains. In the teaser, we see the main character dealing with the rest of his group, and it’s not pretty. Patch 7 will be coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 in September on PC, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The exact release date is not yet known.
