There have been various speculations about a PC port of the western Red Dead Redemption for several years now. However, in recent months, the first more real leaks have started to appear, which indicate that the 2010 game may indeed be coming to computers in the foreseeable future. Now comes the de facto official confirmed by Rockstar.

In fact, the game’s tab in the official PlayStation Store has a modified description that clearly intended for the PC versionIn particular, it contains the following phrase: “Experience the epic Western adventures that defined a generation – now for the first time on PC.”

Further in the description we talk about improvements in the form of support for higher resolutions and frame rates, or the availability of all the extra content. These references were quickly removed after the news spread. But that shouldn’t change the fact that an official announcement is likely only a matter of time.
