Analytics company GfK Entertainment, which maps various industries including film, music and gaming, has published a rating best selling boxed games in europe for the first half of this year. In the table below you can see three best-selling titles on a pan-European scale and in a total of seventeen countries, which, in addition to major markets such as Germany and the UK, also include the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The football match turned out to be the most successful EA Sport FC 24 from Electronic Arts, which took first place in all seventeen countries. Nintendo’s title promotions took second and third place in the sum of the countries surveyed. Super Mario Bros. Be amazed And Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Of the other games, the following also turned out to be successful: NHL 24 And Marvel Spider-Man 2which took second and third place in the Czech Republic. In other countries, the top three also included GTA V, Minecraft, Hogwarts Legacy and Princess Peach: Showtime. An interesting paradox is that, in addition to the game mentioned at the end, Princess Peach: Showtime, the top positions were occupied by older games that were released earlier this year.
