The latest episode of the Xenoblade Chronicles RPG series combines the future of the previous two major games, with “life” as its central theme. Players take on the roles of two main characters, Noah and Mio, and find themselves in the middle of a confusing story between the peoples of Keves and Agnus. Six characters hailing from these two nations join forces to discover the real truth about their conflict.

As in previous games, battles in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 start with enemies. Players can control Noah’s group of six as well as other characters they encounter during their journey. Each character will have their own irreplaceable role in combat, so you can create different combat strategies.

The classes of individual characters will change as the game progresses. Noi is a swordsman who specializes in melee attacks, while Mio is a marshmallow, so he draws the attention of enemies and then dodges their attacks. Each character has its own class with its own advantages, but during the game, players will be able to change the character class and create a more individual group.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 introduces a new Interlink system. Each of the tag-team pairs (Noa and Mio, Lanz and Sena, Yuni and Tyon) will be able to use the Interlink system if you manage to meet certain conditions. They can then be combined into a shape called Ouroboros, and each Ouroboros has its own set of strong moves as well as the ability to transform.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will release on Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2022.
