Star Wars fans can slowly start looking forward to the next game again.
Skydance New Media announced that in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, they are working on a new “very cinematic” action adventure from this universe.which, however, offers a completely original story.
Interesting, just this Team President Amy Henningwith many years of game development experience, and at the now defunct Visceral Games studio, she was responsible for creating the canceled Star Wars games.
“I have often described how watching Star Wars in 1977 profoundly changed my 12-year-old brain and irrevocably changed my creative life and future. So I’m excited to be working with Lucasfilm Games again to tell more interactive stories about this galaxy that I love.“- Amy Hennig herself commented on the announcement.

Finally, we can recall that this is the second major Skydance New Media project. The first is a AAA action-adventure from the world of Marvel comics.
