Subscribers Game Pass They will have to prepare for further price increases. Microsoft has announced big changes that will increase prices for the service and eliminate the basic plan for consoles. This will be replaced by a new option that will not have any new games on release day.
The change comes into force from today, 07.10.2024. for new members. The price increase will not affect existing prices until September 12 of this year. Microsoft is increasing prices as follows:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate per month: from 389 CZK (14.99 EUR) to 439 CZK (17.99 EUR)
- Xbox Game Pass Core for a year: from 1499 CZK (59.99 EUR) now 1599 CZK (69.99 EUR)
- PC Game Pass: from 259 CZK (9.99 EUR) to 299 CZK (11.99 EUR)
In addition, Microsoft is open to new members starting today Eliminates Game Pass for Consoles. Current subscribers can renew the plan until October 2025 (just don’t cancel your subscription). It will soon be replaced by a new plan called Xbox Game Pass Standard Subscriptionwhich will cost 14.99 euros (here 389 CZK) and will contain hundreds of games from the catalog that can be played on the Xbox console, and will also offer multiplayer games and special game discounts, including 50% off some games. But what does not stop is the games on the release day. So it may be a more common core. It has a limited selection of games. Microsoft has previously promised that each of its games will be available in Game Pass on the day of release.
It’s worth noting that nothing is changing for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, other than the price increase. These plans will still include games on their release day.
All this happens before arrival Call of Duty: Black Ops 6which will be added to Game Pass on the day of release, that is, October 25, 2024.
