Cyberpunk 2077 May Get Unofficial Multiplayer

It’s no secret that developers CD Projekt had to cancel some of the originally planned content during the development of Cyberpunk 2077. Apart from the second story expansion, the most talked about thing is probably the multiplayer. They are trying to fix the lack of a multiplayer mode. ambitious fan mod is called CyberpMP. Its author recently allowed a YouTuber named JuiceHead to test a working version of the mod.

The result is the video attached below, in which you can see first version of racing mode or team deathmatch. However, in its current form, the modification does not contain any specific missions, but functions more like one big sandbox. JuiceHead describes in his video that the multiplayer was able to work in decent quality for 20 players on one server and map, which is a good result for such an early version.

Let’s see how the fan community’s efforts develop in the future. Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
