Your Boss’s Mouth Yves Guillemot confirmed Ubisoftthat he is preparing several remakes of games from the series Assassin’s Creed. So far, unofficially they are talking mainly about the fourth part with the subtitle Black flagFootage from the upcoming remake has been made available to Insider Gaming magazine.
“Players can look forward to several remakes that will allow us to return to and modernize select games we’ve created in the past; because some of our older Assassin’s Creed work still has extremely rich worlds,” Guillemot says in an interview on the Ubisoft website.
According to Insider Gaming, the remakes will follow the same pattern as the entire v series. Anvil motoror its latest updated version called Anvil Pipeline.
In a few sentences, Yves Guillemot also looks to the future of the brand in terms of completely new games: “The goal is to release Assassin’s Creed games more regularly, but not to have the same experience every year. We have a lot of good games coming up, including the previously announced Assassin’s Creed Hex, which will be very different from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. I think we’ll surprise people.”
