Mortal Kombat 1, released last September, received positive reviews from players and reviews, as evidenced by an 83% rating on aggregator Metacritic. One of the areas that received criticism was frame rate limited to 30 fps for cut scenes and animations with characteristic fatalities. PC gamers mainly complained about this limitation. They noted that the transition between gameplay sequences running at 60 frames per second and fatality animations at 30 frames per second was jarring.
The developers from the NetherRealm studio have finally heard the calls of the players and made a PC version. new settings added, which will increase the frame rate to the required 60fps for the aforementioned problematic passages. However, the authors note that the new setting will only suit owners of the most powerful kits, which corresponds to its designation as experimental. Mortal Kombat 1 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Read more about the game in our review.
