Rogue Prince of Persia from Ubisoft and the creators of Dead Cells has been released

Developers from the Evil Empire studio, in collaboration with the publishing house Ubisoft, have released The Rogue Prince of Persia event. The spin-off of the now iconic rogue-lite series was originally scheduled to release on May 14th. However, the game’s creators decided to delay the release at the last minute due to the release of Hades 2, a related genre that The Rogue Prince of Persia is banking on. traditional 2D platformer mechanics, which is combined with the rules of rogue-lite games. This is a gaming genre that Evil Empire has already touched upon during the development of the award-winning Dead Cells.

The Rogue Prince of Persia also relies on fairly heavily stylized graphics, using a rich color palette and comic book style. Game at the moment only available in Early Access program on Steam, where you can buy it for 18 euros. The game should spend about a year in Early Access, followed by the release of the full version and possible ports for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
