Embracer Group, as part of the publication of its financial results for past quarters, disclosed the results of recently released games. Sales of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, released in February, were successful exceeded management’s expectations.
The game has also done well in terms of reviews and user ratings. The results for Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection and South Park: Snow Day can be described as mixed. Embracer reported that both games received a mixed reception by both players and critics. However, they were able to meet sales expectations.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the games Alone in the Dark and Outcast – A New Beginning, released in March of this year. Both series received a new part after a long time, and Embracer obviously had high hopes for them. But company management noted that none of these games did not meet expectations in terms of sales volume. Therefore, the future of both brands is very uncertain. Embracer itself recently announced the completion of a restructuring that culminated in the division into three independently operating companies.
