Competitors talked about it during the broadcast of the Omelete streamer, Gallic† Chelo was the first to comment on the topic shortly after beating Imperial 2-1 to qualify for PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

During the match, one of those who raised his voice the most and provoked the opponents was the MIBR athlete. He clarified though that he has a lot of respect for emperors and that this is just the basic CS style:

I wanted everyone to understand that I played screaming because I had been playing for a long time. I never underestimate the guys at Imperial, that’s what CS is and if you disagree, you’re Nutella. Screaming CS is a shitty moment… all respect to Imperial, guys fuck # and Brazilian CS is only here because of them, you have to remember that.

The only person screaming during RMR was nowhere near Chelo. Still, his screams were on display throughout the match as the MIBR Major earned their spot undefeated. Besides Chelo’s team, only FURIA has shown the same success.

This Thursday (14) the two best teams in the championship met to determine who would replace the Legends. Chelo’s voice was eclipsed for the first time. The Panthers dominated the game, responding to screams and taunts from the top, winning the game 2-0.

After the game, the downfall came, and training normalized as an opponent.

It is a needle, a normal thing, a small pattern. The boys started yelling at us, did we shut up and come back? The player declared the dispute over Legend’s place against the MIBR.I love this [do clima de gritaria]is grace. Playing on the Internet is a bit quiet, so with these provocations and the feeling that it’s betteradded.

The age difference between the two professional players is five years. All it takes is Chelo to take seasons of lan house and play in a spirit of defiance from an early age. Drop personally played very little, but he already loved this stuff. If you can categorize them that way, there is a clear similarity between two different generations and yet “thorns” throughout the game.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CS:GO and all other esports have been without personal tournaments for years. If you add this to the fact that the mod has gained new fans, it might be possible to explain why this old debate has come up again.
