We wrote about Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden in our review: “From a story perspective, this is a wonderful game that isn’t afraid of themes like death and love, but also the self-centered view of others’ worlds. Anthea and Red’s story is beautifully written and acted, the characters are believable in their performances, and the difficult decisions that accompany them along the way have great depth. Moreover, nothing in the world is black and white, and in this fairy tale for adults you will not find evil, only right or wrong decisions. But besides history? The combat is fun, but it gets repetitive quickly and the enemy count is very poor. The music is unremarkable, and the graphics, while good, are not amazing. In this way, the title offers a lot and doesn’t make mistakes, but at the same time there is nothing unnecessary that could stand out from the story. Despite this, by today’s standards it is fascinating and, above all, original, which is appreciated.”
