Today Electronic Arts, in collaboration with developers from Surgent Studios, released a metroidvania called Tales of Kenzera: Zau. The name appeared under the heading EA Originals programs, through which the American publisher has long supported various projects of independent development teams. The game tells the story of the son of an African shaman who tries to save his father.
In terms of gameplay, you will find an action-2D platformer with traditional processing according to the rules of the Metroidvania genre. Also noteworthy are the colorful stylization or use of African realities and mythology. Tales of Kenzera: Zau is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
