Today, Paradox Interactive, in collaboration with developers from the Paradox Interactive studio, released the 4X Strategy Millennia strategy. The authors call passage of individual historical eras followed by a transition to the future, a concept best known from the Civilization series. Millennia also shares turn-based gameplay with Sid Meier’s famous gaming brand. It is for these reasons that, before its release, the game attracted mainly fans of the aforementioned Civilization, who had high hopes for it thanks to the participation of Paradox.
There are a few first reviews that came out just before the release, but they definitely can’t be called enthusiastic. For example, the famous magazine IGN gave the game a rating of 5/10. Another larger site, PCGamesN, was ranked 7/10. But relatively few reviews have been published so far, so for now it’s worth waiting for new verdicts and player ratings on Steam, where The game will officially release today at 18:00.
