GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games of our time. Therefore, the community is looking forward to 2025, when the game should be released. According to sources provided to Kotaku, it appears that the anticipated game may not arrive until the end of the year, and maybe even a year later. Yes, apparently, there is also an idea that there may be a postponement to 2026. The main reason for this is presumably the fact that the production is not going the way the creators intended. It is because of this that the company in recent weeks recalled its employees and imposed a five-day work week for them.
The developers are not very happy about this, some of them also fear that this could be a longer-term situation associated with increased pressure on the creators, which, of course, some do not want to allow, to which one of the employees commented on it as follows: “I have completed several projects, both of which were in jeopardy. The first one was extremely difficult. I had a lot less gray hair back then. … We want to continue the steps we have taken as a society to eradicate this toxic culture.“
Whether development will continue as it should we will undoubtedly find out in the coming months. Let’s hope that some factors will not have a negative impact on the quality of the game itself. GTA 6 is due out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles in 2025.
