Developers from Pieces Interactive today released the long-awaited and several times delayed remake of Survival Horror Alone in the Dark. A recently released game in terms of story and setting. has been drawing since the very first volume from this famous series released in 1992.
The noticeable time gap between the two titles illustrates well I’ve attached a comparison below, which was published on his Youtube channel by a user with the nickname Cycu1. Above, in the preview, you can tune in to the atmospheric horror from the final trailer. In our review, Alone in the Dark received a score of 8/10 and the following verdict:
“An excellent AA survival horror game based on a carefully crafted story and lore, Lovecraftian themes, and a compelling environment with a strong atmosphere. The modernized form of an old classic brings a lot of wonderful, often unexpected innovations that you won’t find in any other game in this genre. It’s not without its problems, but for the most part the game suffers from a very poor combat system. But if you overcome the shortcomings, you will have a great experience.”
The game is available on PC (Steam), as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
