The Far Cry series at the moment marks 20 years since the release of the first volume, released on PC in March 2004. Since then, the brand has become one of Ubisoft’s most commercially successful products. The initial part from the German studio Crytek was followed by a number of sequels and minor parts that took players to different locations and time periods. Ubisoft last presented us with Far Cry 6, released in 2021, in terms of setting and reality inspired by the revolution in Cuba.
According to information that has not yet been officially confirmed, the developers should currently be working on full seventh volume, which will be complemented by a multiplayer spin-off. In connection with the brand’s birthday, an anniversary video was published, which you can watch in the preview above. At the same time, individual parts of the series on PC (Steam) and consoles can be found at a discount these days.
