Warner Bros. will remove a number of indie games from Steam and console stores

Last week we informed you about the planned withdrawal of the adventure game Small Radios Big Televisions from sale on Steam and PlayStation Store. The game’s author, Owen Deary, was informed of this move by representatives from Warner Bros. Discovery, whose partner company Adult Swim Games is the game’s publisher. It has now been revealed that it will be removed from digital distribution. It’s not just about this titlebut instead it will affect a number of games published by the aforementioned Adult Swim Games.

Warner Bros. as the parent company for reasons that have not yet been officially stated decided to withdraw all Adult Swim Games games from sale, which specialized in supporting small games from independent developers. They were notified of the move via email and learned that individual titles would be removed over the next two months. Some developers have stated that after removal they will re-release their games under their own name.
