Publishing 505 games closes its branches in Spain, France and Germany. In Europe it is limited to its headquarters in Italy and a subsidiary in the UK. Although this is not a significant reduction, fewer than ten people will lose their jobs, but the company will lose direct links with local markets, especially in terms of marketing, communications and PR. 505 Games follows some major publishers in attempting to divest themselves of local representation in major European markets. The Milanese company has more than fifteen years of tradition in several countries.
The instructions apparently came from the parent company Digital Brothers, which is undergoing restructuring and fired a third of its employees in the fall. The Czech team Ingame also did not escape dismissal. 505 Games also recently sold the Contol brand to developers Remedy.
