Rockstar has released remasters of three parts of the Grand Theft Auto series in 2021. In particular, GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas received improved versions. However, the actual development of this collection, entitled Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, was primarily entrusted to the hands of mobile game developers focused on Grove Street Game Studio, which did not live up to fans’ expectations. Apart from conflicting graphics, parts suffered mainly from poor post-launch optimization. The result was mostly negative reviews and a large group of dissatisfied players.
On the contrary, what a dream come true for many fans of the series could look like is shown by a fan “remake” that has a modern form. remake of GTA: San Andreas. The community project uses modern Unreal Engine 5 technologies in combination with several modifications. The result is a stunningly beautiful headline, which is shown in action in a few examples below. They were posted on their Youtube channel by the Flames Per Second group, which specializes in such projects.
