The developers of two highly successful games outlined the current sales figures on their social networks. First of all, we learned that Baldur’s Gate 3 has surpassed ten million copies sold. In addition to the long-popular PC version, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S console ports undoubtedly had a big impact on sales. Additionally, various rankings indicate that Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to attract new players, so it certainly won’t be the last meta to overcome in this regard.
Another game that has become extremely popular lately is Helldivers 2. The game’s creative director Johan Pilestedt recently reported that sales figures about three million copies, which is incomparably more than what the first part achieved in its time. We also learned that approximately 60% of sales come from PCs, with the remaining 40% coming from PlayStation 5 players. Considering this is a game released under the PlayStation banner, this is a pretty surprising ratio and well illustrates the strong interest in Helldivers 2 among PCs -gamers.
