To motivate you to take on a higher difficulty level and save New York from Kraven the Hunter and his trained army, the mode New game plus leads to Spider-Man Marvel 2 New Hellfire Gala costumes for Peter and Miles.
Peter wears a style designed by Russell Dauterman, while Miles takes his iconic look from Bernard Chang’s Hellfire Gala variant cover for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #8. Both suits are pictured above.
In addition, the paid package includes two new premium costumes. Fly N’ Fresh Costume, which is a US charity. Sony is donating up to a million dollars in proceeds to the Gameheads educational program. The DLC will retail for $5 and is a collaboration with Marvel Games and Gameheads. In the package you will find 10 more stickers and two photo mode stickers. Miles Morales’ Fresh Suit design was inspired by ’90s b-boys, while Peter Parker’s Fly Suit design was inspired by ’90s television. The costumes are shown in the new trailer (below).
When you turn on NG+, all purchased costumes and abilities will be transferred to you. There will be new ultimate levels, styles of golden gadgets and other little things.
Insomniac Games will include more in the New Game Plus update the ability to replay your favorite missions and improving accessibility. You’ll be able to select audio captions and a screen reader, including movie titles and high-contrast outlines.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update will release on March 7th.
