Following the successful return of the first three installments in the Tomb Raider series, Aspyr Media is gearing up to revisit another gaming classic. During the latest Nintendo Direct, a collection was announced called Star Wars: Classic Battlefront Collectionthrough which it returns to us the first and second parts of the classic multiplayer series from the late Pandemic studio, as well as from the late LucasArts division.
But this time it’s not just a port of the classic Star Wars game for Nintendo Switch, which Aspyr has brought to us many times in the past. Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will be released on Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and already March 14/March 2024. In a few weeks, we’ll be able to play classic multiplayer and single-player battles again on all modern platforms.
