Slovak Grand Theft Auto by name Vivat Slovakia as the first Slovak game with an open world club. Indie team Vvat announced today that they are preparing to launch the game in Early Access on Steam, giving players the opportunity to not only play and review the game themselves, but also directly influence the final shape. The first part of Vivat Slovakia will include the game world of Bratislava with a day and night cycle. You can have fun at first half of story missions and in secondary urban activities. Over 50 vintage cars inspired by their period counterparts will be driven around the world (from old socialist junkyards to exclusive imports that only the bosses could afford) and you can tune into the LFO radio station with period music or enrich the game your own music. The original will not be lost Slovak dub (voiced the main character Marian Labuda) and subtitles in Czech and English. Plus support for game controllers and select StartLab awards.
The full version currently has no set date. The game will gradually expand with updates and reach the full version with the release of the second part of the story missions. There will also be new events in the open world, public transport, canine companionall StartLab awards and other content not otherwise specified.
StartLab Rewards are crowdfunded rewards that will be added to the game gradually. You can find the first one when exploring virtual Bratislava already at the first stage of early access.
Back to the Wild 90s will be released on Steam on April 18, 2024. To make sure you don’t miss anything, you can add the game to your wishlist. As for supporters, all supporters from level I reward will receive key 18.4. Supporters VII. level can play the game before. Just contact the developers.
Supporters of the game will have their own mini-stories in the game, or you can meet them while walking around Bratislava, and they can also act as public transport drivers.
The map of Bratislava covers approx. 10 km2 of vibrant citywhere more than 20 story missions will be based on real events taking place in the 1990s in the newly founded Slovak Republic after the split of the Czechoslovak Federation.
“The streets are controlled by mafia gangs who are protected by law and are not afraid to show their strength even in broad daylight. Extortion, car bombings and other means of settling scores are the order of the day. Gangster methods have become useful to some government elites who use them for their dirty work.” the authors claim.
The distinction between secret services and organized crime is blurring. Parties that were supposed to oppose each other now go hand in hand in search of money and power. We will play as a bald guy in his thirties who works for the secret police and collects information while working as a taxi driver.
