South Korean publishing house Crafton the year was satisfactory in terms of financial results. His sales grew a little and he also earned quite significantly. Last year’s performance was mainly due to the PUBG brand, with the mobile version of the game getting a chance in India years later.
Krafton sales grew in 2023 by 3% in conversion to $1.4 billion, which is the company’s all-time record. In the fourth quarter, which was December, a significant portion of the revenue came from the launch PUBG Mobile version in India. The game was released there in a three-month trial after several years when authorities blocked it over concerns about the handling of user data.
For the entire year the publishing house earned $300 million and compared to 2022 improved by 30%. The previous year’s results were overshadowed by the financial collapse of the Callisto Protocol.
Crafton is pleased with the numbers and wants to continue his strong year. He has 30 projects at the incubation stage, and he sees the future in the first and second titles. He wants to release a new game every year, for example, among those planned. Dark and dark mobile, Inzoi or Subnautica 2which is not expected until next year.
