With each new part of the series resident Evil Sales are growing, and this also applies to remakes. The remake of the fourth installment has already sold over 6.48 million units. It’s no surprise that Capcom’s plans include further remakes and a completely new title. But what may shock many is the new information.
According to insider Dusk Golem, Capcom is preparing five parts of the Resident Evil series. He should be among them completing the trilogy with the number nine, where Chris Redfield is expected to return. The remaining four projects are not specified.
Given the success of previous remakes, we can expect more remakes to come. After all, Capcom has already confirmed them earlier, and coincidentally there are four parts that have not yet received a remake: Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. From my point of view, it now makes sense for you to remake five, and then six. Only then, perhaps, will we return to first place. What do you think?
