The first Witcher was remembered by players for many different elements. Many will undoubtedly remember it for its very specific combat system. However, in the memory of the majority, he is remembered also for his erotic postcards, which are simply impossible to forget. If you are one of their fans and at the same time are looking forward to the remake of the first part of the Witcher trilogy, then we have not entirely positive news for you. In a recent interview, Fool’s Theory CEO Jakub Rokosz, who is working on the remake, said that it is necessary to analyze certain elements and then evaluate which of them are outdated and which, on the contrary, are downright bad.
If the combat system along with the camera can be classified as outdated elements, then the erotic cards are among the bad ones. So it’s very unlikely that we’ll see them because times are simply changing. Likewise, the community can expect the closed world to disappear and be replaced by a more open format powered by Unreal Engine 5. The story will likely be preserved in all its glory. However, how everything will turn out in the end is more or less known at the moment, because the Witcher remake currently has neither a trailer nor a sample gameplay. Therefore, it is possible that everything will turn out well in the finale and the community will see everything that they liked so much about Geralt’s first adventure.
The Witcher remake’s developer promises to “remove” parts that are “just bad” and I think I know what will be first on the chopping block https://t.co/m7Jp6CgApr
