Shooting Judas from the Ghost Story studio in which we find some of the original creators of the series BioShock, she introduced herself to us in the second trailer. This brings the main character, after whom the game is named, closer to the world in which she lives. At the same time, new gameplay footage should please every BioShock fan. The inspiration here cannot be denied, even if this time everything is somehow more colorful and abrupt.
“Characters have always been the driving force behind every game we’ve ever made. Whether we were fighting beneath the surface of the ocean to kill Andrew Ryan or escaping the city in the clouds with Elizabeth, these individuals were always at the center of our stories. But what if you could choose between who to befriend and who to backstab? creative director asks Ken Levine.
Judas aims to provide players with an experience where decisions and story developments are up to the players. Like Judas, we must be the driving force behind every event in the story, with new characters that we get to know and change in ways never before encountered in Levine’s games.
Everything will happen in the new world Mayflower. This is a space city whose inhabitants are trained to spy on each other and tear each other to pieces at the slightest infraction.
“Where machines control every aspect of business, art and management. The ship’s leaders have tried to make you into something you are not: a model citizen. And you provoked a destructive revolution to destroy it all. Do you want to fix what you broke or let it all burn? This is a decision only you can make.” Levin adds. Last year, he mentioned that he was building not only on the legacy of BioShock and BioShock Infinite, but also on System Shock 2.
Judas looks very interesting in this trailer. The game is not exclusive to PlayStation 5; it will also be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
