The new metro is apparently just around the corner

The famous Metro series from the Ukrainian studio 4A Games can see the official presentation of the new part tomorrow at the State of Play event. Except for the insider with the nickname Nick visited often a well-known insider also mentioned the upcoming announcement of the game Kourakasis. He also states that the new part will be VR-focused and will be subtitled “Awakening.”. But in another tweet, Kourakasis states that at the moment he doesn’t know if it will be a pure VR game.

If the game was indeed announced at State of Play, some form of exclusivity for the PlayStation VR2 headset is expected. It is also worth noting that the studio 4A Games is already a thing of the past presented VR shooter Arctic.1, released in 2017 on Oculus Rift. In the case of the new Metro, this will not be the team’s first game in virtual reality.
