Developers from the Slovak studio 3Division Entertainment are slowly but surely preparing for the release of the full version. Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic. The construction and economic strategy game, which allows you to build and manage a Soviet republic, has been available in early access on Steam for almost five years. Finally, it will be released in version 1.0 this year.
It will receive a few more updates before that happens. One of them is update 0.9.0.11. It came out on Friday and brings the first two of three story mode missions. The first mission is designed as a tutorial and will help you learn the basics of construction, resource management and creating optimal supply chains by creating a Soviet republic from the ground up. This is how authors respond to feedback when it’s difficult and tiring for players to figure everything out. In the second story mission, you will take control of an existing city and solve its problems. The third mission will be available later.
The update also includes two new starting maps, 13 new aircraft, the ability to build basic grass airfields, new buildings and other vehicles. Casual players should notice graphics improvements, bug fixes, and new sounds.
