Paradox Interactive has announced the second part of the Prison Architect series. The studio behind the game is Double Eleven, which took over the series in 2019 from the authors of the successful first part from the studio Introversion Software. In the aforementioned 2019, the Prison Architect brand was sold to Paradox Interactive. Newly announced Prison Architect 2 stays true to the original game’s settingthanks to which you will again be able to build and subsequently manage your own prison.
The biggest difference compared to the first part is the transition to a full 3D display. At first glance, the graphics have also undergone significant improvements. Developers are also lured by the possibility of building high-rise buildings and the presence of elections that will affect events in the prison. In addition to gradually expanding your own correctional facility, you will also have to take care of the needs and relationships between individual prisoners and their guards.
Prison Architect 2 will be released March 26 on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. The price of the basic version was set at 40 euros. But there will also be a more expensive Warden’s Edition for 50 euros.
