In order not to be a swan and surprise you with something, for me the most anticipated game of 2024, not counting Matcha’s own release, is Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall. This is the sequel to one of the most amazing management games of recent times. In Yes, Your Grace, you are a monarch who must protect your family and fight for your throne not only with the help of the army, but also wit and, above all, diplomacy. Depending on your alliances, will you marry your daughter to another ruler to gain more territory and stability? Or maybe you want to cure your sick queen? Already the first part added a very serious story to the management simulator, the originality of which was enough to keep you engaged until the very end, even if some elements fail.
However, the sequel to Snowfall should become even more cinematic; the developers from the Brave At Night studio took advantage of the success of the first part and improved all the aspects that were criticized in the first part. In Snowfall, we have a much larger area to defend from nefarious overlords, but perhaps, as the trailer shows, we will probably lose our territory.
So: we know for sure that the game will be released next year, but we don’t know exactly when. Still, I can’t wait for the sequel. If you don’t know what to play on Steam Deck, ROG Ally, etc. This is exactly the type of game that suits such a device, plus you will be supporting super developers!
