Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ceases to exist

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been one of Valve’s most successful games and the most popular games on Steam for many years. The change in the established order was caused only by the publication of a new work entitled Counter-Strike 2which directly replaced Global Offensive on Steam this September.

However, the old part can still be played thanks to functioning community servers. Nothing should change about this, even if official end of supportwhich Valve has planned for January 1, 2024. However, company representatives note that some online functions, led by inventory, will stop working.

“CS:GO Classic will remain available after January 1, 2024, but some features that rely on the game’s online connection (such as inventory) will no longer be available.” introduces Valve representatives to the planned end of the life cycle of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
