The timeless tale “Stole Christmas” is a story that features many interesting characters. In Tim Burton’s board game Stole Christmas, you get your hands on the most distinctive of them, which in practice means that the cast of heroes here consists of six unique protagonists who prefer slightly different conditions than their competitors.
In fact, we can say that they are divided into three groups. We have the good guys, represented by Santa and Jack Skellington, and the bad guys, represented by Oogie Boogie and Dr. Kellington. Finkelstein. And of course there’s the neutral group of zombies Sali and the Mayor who don’t care if it’s Halloween or Christmas. They always perceive it more or less the same way, so they score the same amount of points for both Christmas gift tokens and Halloween candy, while the representatives of good and evil always benefit primarily from which direction they go.
They earn tokens by always competing for three points on the map. Each round a certain number of gifts and candies will appear on them. How many items appear here depends on how advanced the game is. While Tim Burton’s Stole Christmas will only net you a few chips at the start, you can expect volumes to tip the scales in your favor at the end. The range of places on offer may vary so you may not always have the same opportunity to benefit from them as a group. However, under any circumstances, you must work with cards quite effectively.
Betting on numbers may not always pay off
The main idea behind the gameplay of Tim Burton’s card game “Stolen Christmas” is that everyone brings with them a unique set of cards. Everyone has the same part because it only works with the idea of numbers without any added value. You can work with them only by betting on the numerical value indicated on them. However, that’s all they will offer you.
Even more interesting are the cards that, in addition to the number, also offer some kind of bonus, with the help of which you can resolve the situation in your favor. For example, when you play as Santa, you can trade most of the tokens from the Halloween tokens for gifts if you lose, which doesn’t make the evil characters very happy because they only get a small profit from them. As for Oogie Boogie, he has a piece that is worth one, but if you roll a couple of his dice, you can instantly turn one into thirteen. However, it’s fair game because things don’t always work out right.
The mention of Oogie Boogie’s dice roll brings me to another element that makes Tim Burton’s Stole Christmas an appealing title. An interesting aspect is undoubtedly the fact that individual characters, in addition to cards, have unique abilities. In Boogie there are the already mentioned dice, the difference of which can always be bet on the scales of a certain card. Jack undergoes an evolution that opens up opportunities for Christmas gifts, and the Mayor has a token that always shows one of his faces, which affects how his cards work.
The functioning of individual characters is, in my opinion, one of the reasons why Tim Burton’s Stole Christmas is good to play with as many players as possible. This is the only way you can use the potential of your abilities to the maximum. If you are playing, for example, together, then it is unlikely that you will be able to effectively deal damage to a neutral-evil or good character, because the gameplay is primarily aimed at the clash of good and evil, in which those who do not believe in good or evil are minimally involved. or so I had this feeling while playing.

However, when it comes to Tim Burton’s Stolen Christmas card game, I have to say that it is one of those games that was captured very well. This is a great activity that can be done with both experienced players and children who have already been lucky enough to attend their first lesson. You just need to be able to read and the fun can begin. I definitely think the biggest advantage is the fact that each of the characters is unique. Therefore, your party may never be the same as the last one.
