A short trailer for the upcoming role-playing game Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden focuses on representing the world. He is beautiful and dangerous at the same time. New from the French studio Don’t Nod (Jusant, Twin Mirror, Life is Strange or Vampyr) transports the player to a cold and harsh region of North America.
New Eden was settled by European immigrants decades before the events of the game. Little did they know that this land was harsh and tainted with a terrible curse. The line separating the world of the living and the dead is thin in this region.
The main characters see this for themselves when Anthea is mortally wounded and becomes one of their hated ghosts. This leaves the couple faced with a fundamental moral dilemma. Ante’s spirit is trapped between the worlds of the living and the dead, and the couple must make a choice: free her soul and let her go forever, or break her promise to the Banishers and sacrifice the living to bring her back to life.
In the video we also see different environments. It ranges from mountains and swamps to rivers and forests.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will release on February 13th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
