Famous game designer and screenwriter Chris Avellone in conversation with fans on Twitter he showedthat the studio Obsidian Entertainment wanted to create other spin-offs of various series for Bethesda after the release of Fallout: New Vegas (2010) led by The Elder Scrolls. Bethesda, as the owner of these brands, was not interested in other games that imitated the aforementioned Fallout: New Vegas in nature.

Avellone himself admitted that he still wonders why Bethesda never agreed to further “spin-offs” and continued to collaborate with Obsidian. In any case, the management of the company in the coming years will be entirely focused on supporting its internal teamswhich later released full-fledged new parts of the aforementioned series, led by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
