It’s been a long time coming and many weren’t expecting it, but it’s finally here. IN European Truck Simulator 2 And American truck simulator It was snowing. This only happened as part of a special Christmas event, but it also has a meaning.
Prague studio SCS Software has prepared an event for its “#BestCommunityEver”. Christmas winter landin which you will go on a magical journey through the Christmas winter and deliver supplies and gifts around the world.
Before you get too excited snow is only present on the special Winterland map, which can be reached through portals, for example at a gas station near Prague. You must deliver cargo from the “normal” world to special warehouses (Christmas Square, Chocolate Factory, Post Office, Art Workshop and Mountain Resort Market), as well as transport cargo from these special warehouses.
When I read this information, I just expected the snow to be just a texture. But the opposite is true, the truck is more difficult to control, when braking it feels like you are sliding, it is more difficult to take turns… So I’m pleasantly surprised and personally I’d take this as a harbinger that we’ll actually see snow in these two popular games one day. Participating in the Christmas event can reward you with a special Winterland livery for your truck, and completing community challenges will reward you with other special rewards, including themed items for your cabin. You can follow the community’s progress at Truck world.
