Sony officially announced The Last of Us Part II remaster in early November after a number of hints and speculations. The announcement trailer is now followed by another preview that focuses on new mode called “No return”. In it you will try to survive as long as possible in a clash with numerous hordes of enemies, including bosses.
The authors themselves call “No return” about roguelike with survival elements, in which you visit different locations on several levels. You will be able to play as most of the characters from the original game. However, some characters, weapons and upgrades can only be unlocked by playing.
The Last of Us Part 2 Update will be released on January 19 exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console. Owners of the original version for PS4 will be able to purchase the remaster via an update for 10 euros. At the same time, it is likely that a remastered version of the second part, following the example of the first, will eventually appear on PC.
