DigiStories: Alex is a new product from the Czech development studio Charles Games, which already has several educational games, including the highly rated card game Beecarbonize. The recently released project, which could be created, including through collaboration with the People in Need organization and the educational program One World in Schools (JSNS), is dedicated to 13-year-old Alex, who, as part of the story, has the opportunity to observe the negative transformation of his friend. With the help of his decisions, the player can motivate his classmate Leia in various ways or, conversely, approach her problems from a certain distance. The authors try to work with the theme of addictions, microtransactions, sleepovers, or the influence of influencers on younger members of the population.
The educational game DigiStories: Alex can be played for free on PC and mobile platforms via a browser. You can achieve this here.
What to do when digital reality invades your head? 👩💻 Our new educational game DigiStories: Alex allows students to talk about (un)healthy time use, digital addiction or even the influence of influencers: https://t.co/gn57QmlJHF
