The Dead Space remake, which was announced last year, is gradually being introduced to us by the developers of EA Motive through live streams. While the first focused on the entire game as a whole, the second saw a very rich demo of sound, be it the music, the sounds of Isaac, sound behavior in Ishimura, and last but not least, weapon sounds. . It was the fans who often had doubts about them and they seemed to be relatively weak. The developers took the feedback to heart and a month after the stream came up with a modified version that was published on social networks.
You can listen to the result at the end of the article, the players still praise it in the comments. The plasma cutter, in particular, sounds much more convincing after the changes. In a post on Reddit, the developers write that they tried to make Plasm Cutter “feel” that fans missed so much after the first show, and it seems to have worked.
The second weapon that the authors have shown at the moment, the Pulse Rifle, has also undergone modifications. Her shooting rhythm has changed, which is now more chaotic, and hitting surfaces is louder.
Of course, even after the changes are made, the developers will be happy to receive further feedback that you can give them, for example, on Twitter or Reddit.
As previously announced, the next stream will take place in May and will focus on the visual side.
The game itself is scheduled to be released in early 2023. It is aimed at PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
