Fans Rockstar Games And Grand Theft Auto in recent days we have received a lot of information about the development of GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and GTA 4. Obbe Vermeilwho left the famous studio in 2009.
The former technical director of Rockstar revealed not only interesting behind-the-scenes facts about the development of famous games, but also Zombie survival takes place on a foggy Scottish island. It was canceled and the team focused on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Vermeil also mentioned Agent, another canceled Rockstar project. It appears that these last two pieces of information were too much for Rockstar to handle and they decided to take action. Perhaps Vermeil wouldn’t have revealed something more juicy.
“I received an email from R*North. They say some of the OGs are upset about my blog. Honestly, I thought no one cared that I was talking about games from 20 years ago, but I was wrong.” explains Vermeil.
“Something about destroying Rockstar’s mystical aura or something like that. In any case, this blog is not important enough to me to anger my former colleagues in Edinburgh, so I am closing it.” he added, saying that he might post a few articles on the blog with anecdotes that relate directly to him. The blog currently has technical posts, including car spawning, how cheats work, or how the weather system works.
He himself would like to see Rockstar start talking openly about developing the original Grand Theft Auto trilogy (rather than this failed remaster), but it doesn’t look like that will happen anytime soon. “Maybe I’ll try again in a decade or two.” he added.
The new Grand Theft Auto will be revealed in early December, Rockstar previously confirmed.
