Developers from the Czech studio Bohemia Interactive today released the full version of the military simulator Arma Reforger, which they completed the game’s path through the early access program on Steam and the Game Preview service on Xbox, which launched in May last year. As part of update 1.0, for example, helicopters were added to the game, which expanded the already large and varied list of military equipment. The Conflict mode has also been redesigned, placing more emphasis on supplies.
“We are incredibly proud of Arma Reforger. We worked hard on the game from scratch, reworking every pixel, every line of code. We’ve drawn on everything we’ve learned from previous games to create a new and improved Arma experience. Arma Reforger represents a completely new framework for further development, as well as the first look at the future of the Arma series using the Enfusion engine. The release of this game marks the beginning of a new era, but there are definitely many more new features and improvements to come.” says Jan Duszek, Arma Reforger project manager.
Arma Reforger takes players to the mid-Atlantic on the fictional islands of Everon (51 km2) and Arland (10 km2), where they compete against each other in multiplayer battles. In addition to the emphasis on realism, the game also focuses on a varied assortment of historically accurate weapons, vehicles and helicopters, as well as support for multiplayer between PC and Xbox players. Arma Reforger is available on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X/S. The price was set at 30 euros.
